SWEATCON is a training conference in the South-West (SW) of Sydney. It is IN the South-West, FOR the South-West, BY the South-West. The conference seeks to train up leaders and future leaders in the churches of the SW. It also seeks to encourage people in their ministries and to stay in the SW for the sake of the Gospel.

Why another conference and why in the SW?

What is different about this one?

The SW of Sydney has some unique challenges. It is most multicultural area of Sydney, there a many social and financial pressures, and there are no training conferences held in the area. We have become aware of many churches struggling with no ministers and/or no leadership training. This conference is geared to people in the SW – you don’t need a university education to soak up the training and it is very affordable.

Who should come?

Anyone in the SW who wants more training for leadership or who simply want to learn. It’s suitable for church leaders, youth leaders, Bible study leaders, Sunday school teachers – anyone who is serving God’s people.
